xTerminal does not collect, log, sell, or transmit any of your personal data, server credentials, or terminal traffic. All SSH keys, passwords, and sessions remain strictly on your local device.
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy applies to the xTerminal software application across all supported platforms (Android, Linux/Snap, Windows, macOS). By using xTerminal, you agree to the transparent data practices described herein.
2. Data We Handle and Where It Stays
- Server Credentials & Passwords: All hostnames, IP addresses, SSH private keys, passphrases, and configurations are stored securely and encrypted locally on your device. We have zero access to your infrastructure.
- Terminal Buffers & Commands: Shell input and output stream directly between your device and your designated remote server via encrypted SSH or user-configured connections. No terminal logs are transmitted to any third-party or developer servers.
- Multiplayer Live Sharing (Optional): When you explicitly create a real-time multiplayer sharing link, terminal buffers are routed ephemeral and real-time between authorized participants. No session history is retained once the session ends.
3. Device Permissions & Purpose
xTerminal only requests standard permissions strictly necessary for its core network terminal functionality:

| USB / SERIAL | Direct console connection to hardware switches, routers, and ADB devices. |
4. Analytics & Advertising
xTerminal contains NO third-party advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or user-profiling analytics libraries. Your developer workflow remains 100% confidential.
